Automated Systems in a Washroom | welcome to wpmuwiki.org

"There are many elements to a well organized washroom, which include the products designed to help keep the area sanitary. The less often people have to touch items in a washroom, the less likely they are to pick up any type of germs or bacteria. A washroom is equipped with sinks and soap dispensers, which are necessary to proper cleansing of the hands. To reduce the transfer of bacteria from one person to another, there are sinks created with sensors, which detect motion underneath the faucet area so the sink activates the water flow automatically. This eliminates the need for people to touch the taps in order to turn the water on.

Another automated object often found in a public washroom is the hot air blower. This item is designed to replace the standard paper towel roll by allowing people to dry their hands with the hot air. The machine operates through the use of a push button, although there are some new sensor activated units available as well. Sensors are also built into many new types of toilets, so the detection of motion automatically activates the flushing mechanism. Thanks to the invention of the automated devices, the washroom does not need to be a breeding ground for bacteria."
